LPL Coming Soon

History of LPL

The xLights journey began in 2014 when The Great Christmas Light Fight aired Matt Johnson's Family Dubstep Show. I instantly had a new hobby. The early years were trial and error with limited support options available, and the Christmas 2015 show consisted of an AlphaPix4  and a few dozen pixel strips. Honestly, I was happy just to get something up and running. Skip a few years to the present and during both Halloween and Christmas, the sidewalks are full and cars line the streets. The goal has always been to create a destination where neighbors gather to enjoy blinking lights together. With a lot of hard work, we achieve that goal each year.

Why Choose LPL Sequences?

The Laureate Park Lights is a local pixel light show with roughly 25K pixels. While some consider this size to be small, it is inline with the size of most home pixel shows. Because many pre-made sequences are created with the very large shows in mind, I often have a hard time mapping them to my show (despite many years of advanced xLights experience). Laureate Park Lights layouts are smaller in scale and should be easier to map to any show size.
